Big Island police seek thieves who hit school

Big Island police are asking for the public's help in tracking down suspects in a theft and vandalism at Ka'u High School over the weekend.

Police said 14 laptops, two televisions and a printer were stolen from the school.

Officers also said vandals had set fires in several areas on campus.

Police are asking anyone with information on the case to call Detective Gerald Wike at 808-326-4646, ext. 302. Tipsters can also call CrimeStoppers at 808-961-8300 in Hilo or 808-329-8181 in Kona.
