NBA: Baron Davis leaves game with apparent food poisoning

Associated Press

HOUSTON — Los Angeles Clippers guard Baron Davis returned to Wednesday's game against Houston after leaving in the first quarter with apparent food poisoning.

Davis, the Clippers' second-leading scorer, had four points and one assist in 10 minutes before he was replaced by Eric Gordon.

He didn't warm up with his team during halftime, but started the third quarter.

Davis came in ranked fifth in the league in assists, with 8.1 per game.
