BANK OF HAWAII

Bank of Hawaii has announced the following:

William "Bill" Carpenter has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president of private client asset management. He will co-manage the department and continue as senior portfolio manager.

Diane Murakami has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president of the business banking division's east market region.

Tammy Nakamatsu has been promoted from vice president and human resources organizational manager to senior vice president and senior human resources manager. She oversees the staffing department.

Kathleen "Kathy" Rodriguez has been promoted to senior vice president and consumer compliance and Community Reinvestment Act manager. She was previously a vice president in the Corporate Compliance Department.

Stuart Lehr has been hired as vice president and Bank Secrecy Act officer. He directs the bank's compliance program relating to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.

M. Patricia Welling has been hired as vice president and commercial loan process manager in the wholesale credit department.

SWINERTON BUILDERS HAWAII

Jay Iranon has been appointed business development manager for Swinerton Builders Hawaii. He will be responsible for the development of new business, marketing and ensuring a high level of service to clients.

STAR PROTECTION AGENCY

Robin Medeiros has been named chief operating officer of Star Protection Agency. She oversees corporate operations, which include guard services, investigations, executive protection and risk management.

Anderson "Bucky" Hee has been named vice president of sales and marketing.

Lisa Lo has been named chief financial officer. She has more than 20 years' experience in accounting and corporate finance. She joined the company in 2006.

ARGOSY UNIVERSITY

Argosy University has announced the appointment of Kawika Kane to the position of associate director of university outreach.

ERWIN CABRINHA & AU

Erwin Cabrinha & Au has announced the promotion of Celeste Yonamine to senior auditor.

PACIFIC AIR CARGO

Tanja Janfruechte, corporate vice president of Pacific Air Cargo's Los Angeles office, will assume management of both Pacific Air Cargo and its newly acquired division, Aloha Contract Services.

Thomas Ingram, vice president of operations, will take on increased responsibilities at the expanded firm.

Kevin Molale has been promoted from assistant station manager to station manager. He will also be in charge of quality control.

Paul Kalani Mioi, operations manager, has assumed increased duties as purchasing manager for Aloha Contract Services.

Christopher Carbonel has been named Aloha Contract Services ramp manager at Maui Airport.

HAWAII INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS

Hawaii Instrumentation & Controls has announced the following new hires: Ed White as senior project manager; Derick Wurst IV as service manager; Edward Butac, Sheldon Travick and Jack Cosgrove as installation technicians; Frank Barcelona Jr., Brenton Harbottle and Jon Ishimine as service technicians; Adam Kekauoha as a service writer; Dale Kavulla as CAD operator; and Alfred Gaastra as Maui project manager.

HAWAII PUBLIC RADIO

Bernadette Ku'uipo Shimono has been promoted from controller to vice president, finance of Hawaii Public Radio.
