NE-YO IN JANUARY

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday for tickets to a Jan. 5 concert — 7:30 p.m. at the Blaisdell Arena — by soulful hit-maker Ne-Yo, whose latest release was September’s “Year of the Gentleman.”
Ne-Yo, who also is an actor and prolific songwriter, first made a splash with his 2006 disc “In My Own Words.”
