Advertiser Staff

WAILUKU, Maui — Daytime excavation and paving work on North Market Street between Mill and Kahawai streets is scheduled to begin Monday, the County of Maui Department of Public Works announced.

Work is being performed during the day to avoid disturbing area residents at night. Traffic will be restricted to one lane from 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. daily for approximately four to six weeks, plus some additional intermittent closures as needed.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the construction area and to anticipate delays.
