Traffic signals at the the busy intersection of Fort Weaver and Renton roads were out of service during peak-traffic time this morning.

Police were busy handling other weather-related emergencies, leaving drivers to fend for themselves.

The heavy rains created pools of water on Farrington Highway near Child and Family Service, slowing traffic in both directions.
