Power outages reported across Oahu

Some 13,900 Hawaiian Electric customers remain without power in Nanakuli, Ma'ili, 'Ewa Beach, Ko Olina, Pauoa, Waimanalo, Kailua and Kane'ohe.
"In some cases I've seen it's been the wind causing the outage, not knocking over poles but blowing debris and trees into lines," HECO spokesman Darren Pai said. "In Kaimuki we had one report of a collapsed garage on the power lines, and we do have a report of downed lines by the Pali golf course."
HECO crews area also working on smaller pockets of outages in other areas of O'ahu affecting single customers to portions of neighborhoods, Pai said.
