Oahu road closures, worst flooding areas listed

The city's traffic management center has released this list of closed roads, flooding conditions and evacuations.

  • Closed roads:

    Kamehameha Highway in both directions by Kualoa District Park

    Farrington Highway by Makua Cave

    Kamehameha Highway in both directions by Waikalani

    On Kamehameha Highway at Thot Bridge

    Puhawai/Halona Kokea & King/Dillingham

  • Extreme flooding:

    Kamananui/Wilikina intersection due to low-area flooding

    Waipahu Depot Road below Farrington

  • Evacuation of people:

    Haleiwa Beach Road

    Kipapa Gulch

    Shelters open at:

    Waialua High School

    Waianae District Park

    Makaha District Park

    Queen Liliuokalani Church

  • Small landslide:

    On Kokokahi Place

    Waialua Beach Road.
