Leilehua High School and Wahiawa Middle School will close tomorrow due to flood damage, said Sandy Goya, spokeswoman for the Department of Education.

Those are the only two schools that have announced they are closing.

Any decision on other school closures will likely be made in the morning when weather conditions have been assessed and school officials determine that it would be safe to hold instruction, said Goya.

The latest school closure news will be posted on the DOE Web site under "school closures" at http://doe.k12.hi.us.
