Final day of Pipeline Masters surf meet on

The final day of the Billabong Pipeline Masters men's surfing contest is on today at the Banzai Pipeline.

The fourth round, quarterfinals, semifinals and final are all scheduled to be completed today. Wave-face heights are in the 10- to 15-foot range.

The contest will start at 8 a.m., and the final will be around 2:30 p.m.

Surfers still in contention include world champion Kelly Slater of Florida, and Hawai'i surfers Andy Irons, Jamie O'Brien, Marcus Hickman, Kamalei Alexander and Evan Valiere.
