Target kicks off 4-day job fair on Thursday

Advertiser Staff

Target Corp. is kicking off a four-day job fair tomorrow to hire 1,200 people to staff its two O'ahu stores scheduled to open in March.

Target is holding the event from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hawai'i Convention Center. The company said it will make same-day job offers to as many people as it can for positions at the stores it is opening in Kapolei and Salt Lake.

The interview process can take one to three hours, according to a news release from Target. Having a resume is helpful, but not necessary. Many of the jobs start Jan. 15.

Target says it plans to hire another 400 employees in May for a store on the Big Island.
