The University of Hawai'i-Manoa's Mid-Year Commencement exercises are scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Officials are warning motorists that traffic has been known to back up at H-1 University off-ramps in both directions in past years when commencement was held on Sundays — and there may be even more vehicles on the road Saturday morning.

Free parking will be available in the lower campus parking structure, which opens at 6 a.m.
