Polo match for Toys for Tots on Saturday

Advertiser Staff

The University of Hawaii at Manoa Wahine Polo Team (Lio Polo Club) will play the Hawaii Polo Club Saturday at the Mokuleia Polo Fields, 68-411 Farrington Highway in Waialua, across from Dillingham Airfield.

Gates will open at noon and play will start at 3 p.m.

Admission is normally $10, but guests who bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots will be admitted free.

This is one of the last events of the 2008 Toys for Tots campaign. As of today, approximately 27,000 toys have been collected toward a goal of 40,000, with the greatest need remaining for toys appropriate for boys and girls 11 years and older.

If you have any questions, please call Chuck Little, MARFORPAC Deputy Director of Public Affairs, at 477-8309 (office) or 489-7353 (cell).
