WAIALUA
Donate to Toys for Tots at UH Wahine polo game

Toys for Tots still needs donations, and Saturday will be one of the last chances to give.

That's when the University of Hawai'i-Manoa Wahine polo team (Lio Polo Club) will play the Hawaii Polo Club at the Mokuleia Polo Fields, 68-411 Farrington Hwy. in Waialua, across from Dillingham Airfield. Gates will open at noon and play will start at 3 p.m.

Admission is normally $10, but guests who bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots will be admitted free.

This is one of the last events of the 2008 Toys for Tots campaign.

As of yesterday, approximately 27,000 toys had been collected toward a goal of 40,000, with the greatest need remaining for toys appropriate for boys and girls 11 and older.
