Three recently born Sumatran tiger cubs made their public debut at the Honolulu Zoo today.

"We are happy to give this early Christmas present to the people of Honolulu and visitors to our city," said Mayor Mufi Hannemann in a news release.

The three are boys, and have been named Malosi, Keahi and Tondi. They were born Sept. 15. Since then, the cubs have been in the care of their mother, Chrissie, and zookeepers.

"The three boys are growing quickly, and I want to encourage people to come down and visit them up close and in person as soon as possible," Hannemann said.
