Bridget Marquardt may have lived in the Playboy Mansion with Kendra Wilkinson, but she hardly recognizes her former housemate anymore.

"She's doing amazing, she's so in love," Marquardt said of Wilkinson, 23, who recently became engaged to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett. "She's changed so much. She's not even the same person. I mean, she is the same, but she's different."

One big difference? "She doesn't flash anymore," said Marquardt, who will be a bridesmaid at Wilkinson's wedding at the Playboy Mansion.

DEATH MAY SPUR CHANGE IN POLICY

CLEVELAND — The death of R&B singer Sean Levert in Cleveland has led to a proposed new policy that provides more flexibility in giving inmates their anti-anxiety medication.

The member of the 1980s R&B trio LeVert and son of lead O'Jays singer Eddie Levert died March 30 after becoming ill at the Cuyahoga County jail in Cleveland.

The jail administrator and a jail doctor proposed the change to allow inmates to get their prescribed medication as soon as their prescriptions are verified.

Levert's widow, Angela Lowe, filed a wrongful death lawsuit in June accusing jail officials of neglecting his medical needs.

The lawsuit says Levert was not given the prescription Xanax that he had brought to the jail when he started serving a sentence for failure to pay child support.

COPPERFIELD AIDE INJURED BY BLADES

LAS VEGAS — An assistant for magician David Copperfield wasn't sawed in half, but other blades caused him injury during a performance at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

US Magazine reports that an illusion technician is recuperating after getting an arm caught in the rotating blades of a 12-foot industrial fan on stage Wednesday. His arm broke in several places, requiring surgery, and a cut on his face required stitches.

David Copperfield told the celebrity magazine that he was at the hospital when the assistant awoke, and he gave him a children's magic set to practice on during his recovery.

SNOW PUTS CHILL ON FILM DEBUTS

LOS ANGELES — Movie audiences greeted Jim Carrey and Will Smith with a lukewarm "yes" as snowstorms undermined weekend debuts from both stars.

Carrey's comedy "Yes Man" opened at No. 1 with $18.2 million in ticket sales, while Smith's drama "Seven Pounds" came in second with $16 million, according to studio estimates yesterday.

Debuting at No. 3 with $10.5 million was Matthew Broderick's animated family flick "The Tale of Despereaux."

The new movies arrived in theaters Friday just as storms pounded the Northeast.

"The Day the Earth Stood Still" slipped from No. 1 to No. 4 with $10.2 million. The movie starring Keanu Reeves raised its 10-day total to $48.6 million.

In limited release, Mickey Rourke's acclaimed drama "The Wrestler" had a heavyweight debut, taking in $209,474 in just four theaters for a whopping average of $52,369.
