The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team was ranked No. 7 in the final Bison/American Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll released today.

It was UH's highest final ranking since finishing at No. 3 in 2003.

National champion Penn State, which received all 60 first-place votes, finished at No. 1, followed by runner-up Stanford, Nebraska, Texas and Washington.

The Rainbow Wahine (31-4) lost to Stanford in an NCAA regional final.
