KEA'AU
Lingle releases library improvement funding

Gov. Linda Lingle has released $356,100 for improvements at Kea'au Public and School Library, which is on the Kea'au Middle School campus.

The library is one of 13 public libraries on the Big Island. The project includes improvements to the fire alarm and emergency lighting systems and replacement of the library's roof.

Construction is scheduled to begin in March and be completed in September.
