The clinic, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will cover scheme and motivation techniques and teaching fundamentals and drills. In addition, McMackin and his staff will be leading the afternoon coaching seminars for the local coaches in attendance.

Cost for the clinic, co-sponsored by the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association and USA Football, is $35. Registration is available at usafootball.com or by calling 877-5-FOOTBALL (877-536-6822).

The Honolulu clinic is the first of 40 that will be held around the country this year.
