Warriors land California MVP quarterback

Brent Rausch, a quarterback from College of the Desert (Palm Springs, Calif.), has accepted a football scholarship from the University of Hawai'i.Rausch, who is 6-feet-4 and 190 pounds, has three years to play three seasons for the Warriors. Last season, he threw for more than 2,600 yards and 28 touchdowns and was voted Offensive Player of the Year in his conference.
He also was the Most Valuable Player in the Golden Empire Bowl.
