UC Santa Barbara outlasts Warriors in volleyball

Theo Brunner had 25 kills and Jeff Menzel added 23 to lead UC Santa Barbara to a 32-30, 30-32, 36-34, 36-34 victory over Hawai'i tonight in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's volleyball match at Santa Barbara, Calif.UC Santa Barbara is 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the MPSF. UH is 3-6 and 2-4.
Joshua Walker led the Warriors with 26 kills. Jacob Schkud added 15.
The Warriors led 29-26 in the fourth game, but UCSB rscored the next three points to tie it at 29. With the game tied at 34, kills by Brunner and Phil Matthews gave the Gauchos the victory.
