Hiker rescued by helicopter in Kahuku mountains

A hiker was rescued from the mountains behind the Kahuku Training Facility at 9:15 Saturday night by the Honolulu Fire Department helicopter, Rescue One.The woman got into trouble in an area where the department's helicopter could pluck her off and bring her to safety at the Sunset Beach fire station, said Capt. Earle Kealoha, HFD spokesman. She was not injured, Kealoha said.
