Opening night gala for Jewish film fest set for Feb. 16

The Sixth Annual Kirk Cashmere Jewish Film Festival screens at the University of Hawaii at Manoa Spalding Auditorium, Feb. 16-18.
The opening night gala is sponsored by the law firm of Starn O'Toole Marcus & Fisher, and will be preceded by a Havdalah ceremony in honor of Kirk Cashmere, conducted by Rabbi Peter Schaktman.
The film "As Seen through These Eyes", narrated by Maya Angelou screens at 7:30 p.m., followed by a reception on the Spalding Hall Terrace.
