Friday to kick off Supper Club at Doraku

This city's bad boys of high-end club events are turning things down a notch with a new event that's more social club than nightclub.Event promoters Flash Hansen and Matty Boy Hazelgrove of flashandmattyboypresent.com will host their newest nighttime endeavor, The Supper Club, on the second and fourth Friday of the month, with the debut event taking place Friday.
The bi-monthly event will take place at Waikiki's upscale sushi joint Doraku. The restaurant has agreed to extend its dining hours for the event, making the entire menu available to partygoers all night long.
DJs Byron the Fur, Rayne and mrbRown will take up residency at the posh event, spinning their brand of smooth house, downtempo and trip-hop.
The Supper Club launches Friday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m.; cover charge is $5 and the dress code is in full effect. Admission is for those 21 and older.
