Rain pouring down over Kauai mountains

An upper trough is dumping heavy rains over the mountains on Kaua'i and brought a flash flood warning on the Garden Isle until 6:45 a.m. A flash flood watch remains in effect for all Hawaiian Islands until this afternoon.The unstable weather conditions around the state are expected to continue today, the National Weather Service said, but the atmosphere should become more stable by Wednesday.
