Maui public schools taking kindergarten registrations

WAILUKU — With less than six months to the opening of school year 2008-2009, public schools have begun accepting registration for kindergarten, The Maui News reported.

The Maui District schedule follows:

  • Ha'iku Elementary School, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 19 to 29.

  • Hana High and Elementary School, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Feb. 29.

  • Kahului Elementary School, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 19 to 29.

  • Kamali'i Elementary School, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 19 to 22.

  • King Kamehameha III Elementary School: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through Friday.

  • Kaunakakai Elementary School, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., through Feb. 29.

  • Kihei Elementary School, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 19 to 29.

  • Kilohana Elementary School, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., through Feb. 29.

  • Kula Elementary School, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 15; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 19 to 22.

  • Lana'i High and Elementary School, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 11 to 15.

    Lihikai Elementary School, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through March 31.

  • Makawao Elementary School, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Feb. 25 to 29.

  • Maunaloa Elementary School, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Feb. 29.

  • Princess Nahienaena Elementary School, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 19 to 22.

  • Pa'ia Elementary School, 8 to 11 a.m., 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., through Feb. 29.

  • Pomaikai Elementary School, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 11-12, 14-15; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 13.

  • Pukalani Elementary School, 12:15 to 3 p.m., Feb. 19 to 29.

  • Waihe'e Elementary School, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through Feb. 29.

    Wailuku Elementary School, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., ongoing; special Wednesday session, 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the school cafeteria.
