Dave Matthews will be Jack Johnson's musical guest this year at the fifth annual Kokua Festival scheduled for April 19 and 20 at the Waikiki Shell. An official announcement was made early this morning.

The festival, which benefits Johnson's Kokua Foundation, will be Matthews' first appearance in the Islands. Local talent Paula Fuga and Go Jimmy Go are also slated to perform at the two-day event.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 16 at all Ticketmaster locations, online at ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 877-750-4400. Tickets are $40 for general admission, $50 for reserved seats and $125 for seats in the pit. Admission for children ages 3 to 12 is $20. And proving that the Johnson crew walk the talk — ecologically speaking — concert-goers this year have the opportunity to tack on to their ticket prices an additional $2 to offset their travel to the show.
