Road projects slated for areas of H-1

The State Department of Transportation has several construction projects slated for varous parts of the H-1 this week:

Waipahu To Waikele

From 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly this week there will be two-lane closures in the eastbound direction from the Fort Weaver Road on-ramp to the Paiwa Street on-ramp for pavement resurfacing.

The two rightmost lanes and two leftmost lanes will be closed at different times tonight. For the remaining nights, only the two leftmost lanes will be closed.

Eastbound: Pearl City To Aiea

Multiple lane closures in the eastbound direction for overhead signage repairs and maintenance at the following locations and times:

  • Three rightmost lanes will be closed between the Waimalu/Pearlridge off-ramp (Exit 10 (East)) to the Kaamilo Street Overpass from 10:30 p.m. on tonight through 4 Tuesday. During these hours, the eastbound H-1 on-ramp from Moanalua Road at the Pearl City Interchange will also be closed.

    Motorists are advised to use the next available eastbound H-1 on-ramp from Kamehameha Highway just west of Honomanu Street in Aiea near the Aloha Stadium.

  • Two rightmost lanes will be closed between the Waiawa Road Overpass and the Waimalu/Pearlridge off-ramp (Exit 10 (East) from 11p.m. on Wednesday night through 4: a.m. on Thursday morning.

    Westbound: Punchbowl And Pearl City

    Freeway on-ramp and lane closures in the westbound direction for guardrail repairs and maintenance at the following locations and times:

  • Single lane closure between the Pali Highway off-ramp (Exit 21B (West) to the Punchbowl Street on-ramp from 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night through 4 a.m. on Thursday morning.

    During these hours, the westbound H-1 on-ramp from Punchbowl Street will also be closed.Westbound motorists are advised to use the next available H-1 on-ramp from School Street.

  • Single lane closure between the Waimalu on-ramp from Moanalua Road to the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B (West) from 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night, through 4 a.m. Friday.

    During these hours, the westbound Waimalu on-ramp from Moanalua Road will also be closed. Westbound motorists are advised to use the next available H-1 on-ramp from Kamehameha Highway near Waihona Street.
