Seattle police recruiting in Hawaii this week

Advertiser Staff

The Seattle Police Department is offering O'ahu residents an annual salary of $47,000 and a $5,000 signing bonus to join the Seattle police force.

Seattle needs 105 new cadets because the city redrew their patrol districts for the first time in 30 years.

The Seattle recruiters will be in town from tomorrow through Saturday.

They will start at the Criminal Justice Expo at Chaminade's Ching Conference Center tomorrow.

They'll be there from 5-8 p.m. and are the only Mainland police force represented at the expo.
