GROUP 70 INTERNATIONAL INC.

Group 70 International Inc. has named world-renowned architect and planner Paul Bierman-Lytle as chief sustainability officer, who will lead the firm's sustainable development division. Bierman-Lytle has served as the chief architect and planner on more than 150 sustainable development projects spanning 29 years. Prior to joining Group 70, Bierman-Lytle served for 11 years as president and CEO of the Sustainable Environment Associates Corp.

Founded in 1971 in Honolulu, Group 70 International specializes in sustainable development, architecture, planning and environmental services, interior design and assets management.

HAWAII COMMUNITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union on the Big Island has promoted Kenneth Shaw to youth services coordinator, responsible for developing and maintaining HCFCU's existing student credit unions, pursue creating additional student credit unions at Big Island high schools and formulate a strong youth financial literacy plan. Shaw has worked at HCFCU since April 2006 and previously served as member service specialist.

THE VITAMIN SHOPPE

The Vitamin Shoppe has announced that Judy WoodS, a three-time Hawai'i Ironman finisher and 14-year island resident, has been selected as the store manager to open the first Vitamin Shoppe store in 'Aiea, across from Pearlridge Center Downtown. Vitamin Shoppe is a leading specialty retailer and direct marketer of nutritional products based in North Bergen, N.J.

RUTH'S CHRIS STEAK HOUSE

Ruth's Chris Steak House at the new Waikiki Beach Walk has named Jon Kobashigawa as a manager. Kobashigawa formerly served as dining room manager at Sam Choy's Diamond Head Restaurant.
