Arraignment set for accused UH student stalker

Advertiser Staff

An arraignment date has been set for a 48-year-old man accused of stalking two University of Hawai'i-Manoa female students from Japan.

Eldon Paul Cox, also known as Paul Anderson, is scheduled for arraignment on Feb. 5 in Circuit Court, where he is expected to plead not guilty, said his attorney Jeffrey Hawk.

Cox was charged last week with misdemeanor first-degree criminal trespassing and petty misdemeanor harassment.

His case will likely go to trial some six weeks following that, possibly at the end of March or early April, Hawk said.
