Advertiser Staff

Parker School's third annual auction to raise money for financial aid and scholarships brought in more than $155,000, the school announced Wednesday.

Nearly 40 percent of all students attending Parker School receive financial aid.

"I am absolutely thrilled by the outcome of the Kahiau event," said Keawe Liu, Parker School's head of Institutional Advancement. "We try so hard to keep our excellent program accessible for our community, and our fundraising events give us the ability to accomplish that goal. We are so thankful for everyone who supported us."

Between Kahiau and Parker School's annual Fairways & Friends Golf Tournament, more than $175,000 has been raised for financial aid this year, the school news release stated.
