Surf of 5 to 7 feet expected along east-facing shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf of 5 feet to 7 feet is expected today along along the east-facing shores, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, the surf is expected to be 4 feet to 6 feet along north-facing shores, 2 feet to 4 feet along west-facing shores and 1 foot to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

A new northwest swell will likely boost the surf to advisory levels for the north and west shores of O'ahu on Thursday. This swell is expected to peak Thursday night and start lowering Friday. A moderate size northwest swell will arrive Sunday.
