Kahuku's Kemoeatu heading to West Virginia

Benji Kemoeatu, a 6-foot-4, 325-pound offensive lineman from Kahuku, said today he will sign a letter of intent to play for West Virginia.

Kemoeatu, an Advertiser All-State player, has two brothers who play in the NFL. Maake played for the Carolina Panthers and Chris played for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kemoeatu was among many from Kahuku to sign National Letters of Intent today, the first day in which a student-athlete can sign a binding document with a university.

All-State linebacker Paipai Falemalu and Alema Tachibana are headed to the University of Hawai'i. Falemalu is a 6-3, 220-pound linebacker and Tachibana is a 6-3, 200-pound defensive end/linebacker.

Shiloah Te'o, a 5-11, 190-pound All-State defensive back, signed with BYU. Kameron Krebs signed with Oregon State.
