MERIDIAN GROUP HAWAII

Chevy Tharp has been named regional vice president of the business brokerage division of Meridian Group Hawaii, and Jennifer Sinclair has been named commercial/business loans specialist for the company.

BENNET GROUP STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

Bennet Group Strategic Communications has promoted Char Chang and Jill Bona to senior account executives. Chang previously worked for advertising firm Milici Valenti Ng Pack. Before joining Bennet Group in 2007, Bona was a morning show producer for KHNL News 8.

KING & NEEL INC.

King & Neel Inc. has named Tim Matthews as vice president and director of safety, responsible for providing risk control and assessments for more than 130 clients in construction and related industries. Before joining King & Neel, Matthews served as Halliburton's health, safety and environmental manager in Baghdad.

BISHOP MUSEUM

Angela Britten has been promoted to director of corporate development and special events, and Courtney Chow has been promoted to membership manager at Bishop Museum. Britten joined the museum in April 2007 as corporate and community development manager. Previously, she served as the public relations and marketing director for Mutual Publishing. Chow is the former director of the Los Angeles Racing Dragons Foundation in Los Angeles.
