Pasta maker Barilla is working with celebrity chef Mario Batali to raise money for America's Second Harvest, the nation's largest charitable hunger relief organization. And all you have to do to help is download a cookbook of pasta recipes. For every download up to 100,000, Barilla will donate $1 to America's Second Harvest (and that's in addition to a $25,000 check they've already written).

"The Celebrity Italian Table," with recipes from Batali and the likes of Marisa Tomei and Stanley Tucci, can be found at www.celebrityitaliantable.com.

INDULGE IN SWEET TREATS

Dreyer has introduced "American Idol" flavors keyed to the TV talent show. The five new flavors reach stores this month and will be sold until May. They include Cheesecake Diva, Cookies 'n Dreamz, Mint Karaoke, Most Orange-inal and One Split Wonder (banana with fudge). Vote for your favorite at www.slowchurned.com.

And Baskin-Robbins recently revamped its Web site to make it more interactive, part of an ongoing image makeover for the company, which is also remodeling stores. Worth a peek: the part of the site called Deep Freeze, a list of flavors axed over the years.
