Marine invertebrates topic of Bishop Museum lecture

Bishop Museum's Research Seminar Series will feature Lucius Eldredge of its marine invertebrates section, in a 4 p.m. lecture Thursday.

The lecture, in the Paki Conference Room, will be on "Philatelic Phylogeny," or a journey through the animal kingdom with stamps. Eldredge will present an array of animals, mostly marine invertebrates, which have been used for stamp images by many countries. hese include numerous photographs and artwork of animals from one-celled species to marine mammals.

The series is a monthly forum .
