WAIPAHU
New Malakeke Street to be dedicated Monday

Advertiser Staff

The new Malakeke Street, which will connect Waipahu Street with Mokuola Street mauka of the old O'ahu Sugar Mill, will be dedicated and then open to motorists on Monday.

The road is expected to be the main access for the new Sugar Mill Center at Milltown commercial-light industrial region. It was constructed by Avalon Development Co., which is developing the region.

The road borders Milltown Business Center Phase 2 and the Plaza at Milltown, a 34,000-square-foot retail/office center, which are both also being developed by Avalon.
