McLachlin makes cut, Fujikawa misses at Pebble Beach

Tadd Fujikawa shot a 3-over-par 75 today in the third round and missed the cut in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am at Pebble Beach, Calif.

Honolulu native Parker McLachlin made the cut after a 74 today.

Fujikawa, a 17-year-old Moanalua junior, finished at 12-over-par 228, 21 shots behind co-leaders Dudley Hart (68) and Vijay Singh (67), who were at 207. The cut was at 1-under 215.

McLachlin, a Punahou alum, is at 214.

Starting on the back nine at the Poppy Hills course, Fujikawa had a birdie on the par-5 No. 12 and consecutive bogeys at Nos. 15 and 16 to make the turn at 1 over. He had a bogey on the par-4 No. 1, a birdie at the par-3 No. 2 and a bogey at the par-4 No. 3. After a double-bogey on the par-4 No. 8, he finished with a birdie on the par-5 No. 9.

Fujikawa has yet to make a cut in 10 tournaments since turning pro last year.

The top 60 and ties after today's third round advance to the final round, along with the top 25 Pro-Am teams.

Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson, a PGA Tour member, also missed the cut after a 73 (221) today.
