Shop, then drop at the Ala Moana Hotel: The hotel offers two packages for the Shop a Le'a Fashion and Shopping Festival, a seven-day shopping extravaganza at Ala Moana Center, March 3-10. The packages are for stays March 2-10.

  • The suite package includes three nights in a one-bedroom suite, daily breakfast, a book of shopping and dining savings at Ala Moana Hotel and Ala Moana Center, and a $100 Ala Moana Center gift card, one per suite. Also included is a Shop a Le'a cosmetic bag with beauty samples and tickets to Ala Moana Center's fundraising event, 7 to 9 p.m. March 6, to preview the retail expansion of 16 new stores. The evening features cocktails and desserts by Hale 'Aina chefs and entertainment, with proceeds to benefit Habitat for Humanity.   • Three for Free: Fifth night is free with four nights paid at regular rates; a free $100 activity certificate issued at check-in toward events at Kapalua Adventure Center (golf, massage, snorkel, scuba dive) and a free Pineapple Express tour to visit working pineapple fields. $279 per night for a one-bedroom Fairview Villa through Dec. 19.

    Murder-Mystery deal: At Hilton Waikoloa Village, help crack the case of a 1930 Atlantic City murder mystery when Boardwalk Melody Hour presents "Murder Mystery Dinner Theater!" on Feb. 15. The setting: Guests are enjoying a live radio broadcast. But before a note is sung, a baby is snatched, a prisoner has escaped, and a G-man arrives disguised as a nun ... and the bullets start flying. Watch for anything suspicious as you dine on a gourmet menu. 1930s attire encouraged. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m. $69. Extend the evening by staying overnight with the Mystery Dinner Theater room-and-ticket package at $275.
