DATELINE VEGAS: Hawai'i's Don Tiki performed at the Las Vegas launch of Hawaiian Tropic Zone restaurant in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood (the former Aladdin), where Carmen Electra, Mario Lopez, Steve Van Zandt of "The Sopranos," Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge of "The Hills," Kevin Dillon of "Entourage," former WWE diva Stacy Keibler, Kevin Connolly and Reggie Bush were in attendance.

Don Tiki, of course, was led by Lloyd Kandell, Kit Ebersbach and Tunui Tully, and a local gallery attending, including Arlene Iwamoto, Phyllis Kihara, Myra Rabanal and Lee Hacohen.

Former Honolulan Sherry Shaoling performed with Don Tiki; she's now Los Angeles-based, where her work profile is growing, including an action/sci-fi pilot called "Eve," in which she portrays an alien's quirky roommate. Shaoling expects to return home shortly for Brett Wagner's next project, one of 40 to be entered in the annual Filmaka competition (www.filmaka.com), in which she'll play a beauty queen, with Dion Donahue as a bum.
