Pleasant weather expected to last into the weekend

A high-pressure area north of Hawai'i will keep moderate trade winds blowing into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

The winds will ease up a bit when the weekend arrives, forecasters said. Until then, the weather will be dry and stable, for the most part.

Here's how the next few days look at this point:

Today: Sunny. Highs 75 to 80. East winds 10 mph to 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows 63 to 70. Northeast winds 10 mph to 15 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. Highs 76 to 81. East winds 10 mph to 15 mph.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy. Lows 63 to 70. East winds 10 mph to 15 mph.

Friday: Sunny. Highs 75 to 80. East winds 10 mph to 15 mph shifting to the southeast in the late morning and afternoon.

Friday night: Mostly clear. Lows 63 to 70. North winds around 10 mph.
