Advertiser Staff

A draft environmental assessment has been filed for the La'ie Inn redevelopment project, and residents have 30 days to comment.

Hawai'i Reserves Inc. has propose to replace the 49-unit inn with a 220-room hotel with amenities including a restaurant, banquet/meeting facility and swimming pool.

The project site is approximately 9.5 acres and the structure will be about 156,350 square feet of floor area.

An existing McDonald's restaurant and Chevron station will be redeveloped at the northern end of the property at the intersection of Naniloa Loop.
