Sign-ups: Elite Sports Academy clinics

The Elite Sports Academy Basketball Players Clinics, led by Kaimuki High School coach Kelly Grant, will be held over three Sundays, starting this week.

The clinics — the last of which ends March 2 — will be held at Kaimuki High gym.

Those ages 13-18 will participate from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Youngsters ages 8-12 will be participate from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Grant and his staff will be teaching various fundamental and team basketball skills. Fee is $65 per person.

Here are other dates involving clinics:

March 9 — Elite Sports Academy Basketball Coaches Clinics at Mililani District Park Gym, 1 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Coach Kelly Grant and staff will be conducting a basketball coaches clinic. Also, Darryl Oshiro will be doing a presentation on Sport Psychology. Fee: $35 per head coach, $20 for each additional assistant coach.

March 16 and 23 — Elite Sports Academy Basketball Players Clinics at Mililani District Park Gym, 1 p.m.–3 p.m. for ages 7-10, 3:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. for ages 11-18. Coach Kelly Grant and staff will be teaching various fundamental and team basketball skills. Fee: $50 per participant for both sessions.

March 2, 9, 16 & 23 – Elite Sports Academy Outrigger Canoe Paddling Clinic at Sand Island Boat Harbor & HCC's Marine Education & Training Center, 8 a.m.-noon. Coach Kalama Heine and staff will be conducting a classroom and hands-on clinic for ages 9-18. Also includes a tour of HCC'S METC. Fee: $160 per participant for all sessions.
