LIHU'E – One of the initiatives implemented by Kaua'i Police Chief Darryl Perry focuses on designing a dedicated Web site for the Kaua'i Police Department that is more user-friendly.

"We actually started this project in November and although it's still a work-in-progress, I think it already provides the public with valuable information," said Perry. For example, he said, anyone interested in becoming a police officer or public safety worker can find out what the requirements are for these positions at the KAUA'I POLICE DEPARTMENT WEB SITE.
