Kunia Road closed due to leaning utility pole

Police have shut down Kunia Road, in both directions, between the Royal Kunia subdivision and the Hawaii Country Club, because of a leaning utility pole.
Police said Hawaiian Electric Co. has been notified of the problem.
Darren Pai, a HECO spokesman, said the pole problem resulted from a motor vehicle accident.
He said a repair crew is at the scene, but he could not say how long it will take to fix the pole.
Police said earlier that repairs might take all day.
