A musical gala to help Save the Foodbasket, which serves people on O'ahu living with HIV and AIDS, is on from 6 to 11 p.m. today at Church of the Crossroads' Weaver Hall, at 1212 University Ave. Angela Keen, former KHNL morning co-anchor, will emcee a program including Shari Lynn, Leonard Piggee, Star Williams and Allison Chu. Tickets are $50, $90 per couple or $300 for a table of eight; includes heavy pupu, champagne splits and red and white wine.

OLD LOVES, GIFTS ON THEIR MINDS

Thinking of a former flame on this Day of Love? Classmates.com, an online social networking service, polled its more than 40 million members and found that more than 90 percent of respondents either thought of their first love or high school sweetheart in the past year or would like to be contacted by an old flame.

Other findings: When asked what they would most like to receive on Valentine's Day, most men - 23 percent - said they wanted a kiss; most women - 16 percent - said flowers.
