Green House to offer slate of Feb. 23 workshops

The Green House, located at 224 Pakohana St. in Pauoa Valley, is planning several workshops for Feb. 23:

• Composting with Evelyn, Garbage into Gold: Evelyn Giddings leads this hands-on workshop in how to build and harvest a compost pile; 10 a.m. to noon; $15.

• Graywater Harvesting: Jeremai Cann discusses "graywater" catchment systems; 1:30-3:30 p.m.; $15.

• Keiki Explorer Club: "Worms Eat My Garbage" Keiki Style: Learn how to make a worm "home" out of recycled containers; 1:30-3 p.m.; for ages 4 and older; $12 per parent/child team.
