Pali Highway to Kailua will be closed from 7 p.m. tomorrow to 7 a.m. Sunday for tunnel cleaning.

The state Department of Transportation will close the road between Waokanaka Street and Kamehameha Highway at Castle Junction.

Kailua-bound motorists can use Likelike Highway or H-3 Freeway and should allow for extra travel time.

Only emergency vehicles and city buses will be allowed through the closure.

Road work will be done weather permitting.
