TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Las Vegas," 8 p.m., NBC. After a long string of new, scripted episodes on Fridays, NBC is running out. Last week was "Friday Night Lights"; tonight is the last new episode (for now) of "Las Vegas." Crooks show up and try to steal a stamp. In the interim, they hold Danny, Piper and Mitch hostage. The brother of a previous owner covets the casino — and covets Sam, his former sister-in-law. Meanwhile, Delinda has dinner with the current owner (Tom Selleck); she also plans a party for Mike. Also, there's a wedding and singer James Blunt puts in an appearance.

"Celine Dion: That's Just the Woman in Me," 8 p.m., CBS. Credit CBS for bringing variety to the strike-wounded season. Here, it has Dion at the beautiful Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. She sings such songs as "Because You Loved Me," "My Heart Will Go On" and (from her new album) "Taking Chances." She also does duets with Josh Groban and with will.i.am, of the Black-Eyed Peas.

OF NOTE

"House," 8 p.m., Fox. In a change, Fox has scheduled a rerun, in which Dr. House makes a long-distance diagnosis. His patient (Mira Sorvino) is stranded in Antarctica. It aired just 12 days ago, after the Super Bowl, but it's worth rerunning. With wit and drama, it may have been the best hour all season.

"Grey's Anatomy," 7 p.m., ABC. In a so-so rerun, the Chief has a "gentleman's evening" with other doctors.

"Lackawanna Blues" (2004), 6-8 p.m., BET/KHON, digital 598. During Black History Month, here's a fresh chance to see this superb HBO film. Ruben Santiago-Hudson wrote it, warmly recalling his childhood in a boarding house filled with people down on their luck. S. Epatha Merkerson won an Emmy as the matriarch; there were lots of nominations, including best TV movie.

"Monk," 9 p.m., USA Network. In the almost-six-year history of this well-made show, there hasn't been a multipart episode. Now here's one, with a strong plot idea: Monk has been framed for murder. This detective, who needs everything to be neat and orderly, is suddenly tossed into a prison.

"Desperate Housewives," 8:02 p.m., ABC. Here's a rerun of a good, pivotal episode. Carlos leaves Edie. Mike's dad (Robert Forster) shows up. And at a Halloween party, there's a crisis that could expose Bree.

"Psych," season finale, 10:02 p.m., USA. A mummy has disappeared from a museum, sparking an exotic theory from Shawn.
